Zane Van de Put's Comment on Alan's Reaction

    Alan I was very disappointed in the appearance of the super weapon of Project X as well. It makes the story seem to fantastical and that it could not happen in real life. I would have liked for project X to be something else. However, I believe that this weapon will be important later on in the story. Rand would not have introduced this weapon if it was not important. I hope it will make the action a little more exciting since peoples’ lives will be in danger. Ayn Rand has not disappointed me thus far so I believe she will incorporate this weapon well.
  Alan, I also thought that Francisco took safe haven in Mulligan’s valley after his destruction of his copper company. However, he decided to fulfill his dream of working for Hank Rearden. As I read the part about a foreman saving Hank’s life I instantly knew it was Francisco. I wonder what Hank’s role is going to be in Mulligan’s Valley.
