Meaghan Sylver's reaction part 2 chapters 1-2

Dagny is convinced that finding the man who created the motor, which can power itself, will change the world. She believes it will put civilization into an amazing progress that will take technology to a whole new level. But what if this is not true? She is basing her understandings and predictions on the fact that this motor will be functional and come with no downfall. But what will happen if she does find who created it and it is unsuccessful?
Dagny is allowing herself to become too caught up in the wrong questions. For example, she is thinking who created this and where can I find him? Instead, she should be asking herself what effect would this motor have that could impact the world in a negative way?
Searching for answers is something Dagny has become accustomed to, but I believe she is becoming obsessed with only finding answers and she is losing the need to understand why these answers have come about. In order to keep her priorities straight, Dagny should re-evaluate the situation she finds herself in. If this does not occur, I believe Dagny may face a disappointment that she will not be able to fix, something she is not accustomed to. In order to better understand the world around her, Dagny should try to see things through others peoples perspectives. By just looking at the world through her polarized view, Dagny is incompetent of seeing the reason behind many ideas.
